Weekend Preview – Mar. 6-7

This past weekend the Chill picked up a win on the road in Wausau and fell to the Grizzlies in their final regular season home game. With only two regular season games remaining, the Chill still find themselves in third place in the Central Division standings. There is still room to climb in the standings as they head to Alexandria for their final weekend series of the regular season. 

On Friday, March 6th and Saturday, March 7th the Chill travel to Alexandria to take on the Blizzard. The two teams met earlier in the season in mid-November for a weekend series in La Crosse. In that series, the Chill took game one with an overtime goal. In game two, the Blizzard held on to take down the Chill by one goal. Now, the two teams meet again in Alexandria to decide the season series. Alexandria has clinched the 4th seed in the West division as the Chill sit in third place with hopes of climbing to second in the Central division after the weekend. Puck drops at 7:10PM both nights. Weekend Preview – Feb. 28 & March 1

This past weekend the Chill jumped into second place in the Central Division standings with a win at home against Wausau. The Chill fell to the Grizzlies on Friday night, but got back on their feet on Sunday to now find themselves one point ahead of the St. Louis Jr. Blues in the standings. With four regular season games left, every point is precious to hold their playoff positioning. This upcoming weekend the Chill travel to Wausau on Friday then come home to host Rochester on Sunday. 

On Friday, February 28th the Chill travel to Wausau to take on the RiverWolves for one final meeting this season. Their most recent meeting was this past weekend as the Chill was victorious with a 10-1 victory at home. On Sunday, March 1st the Chill come home one last time during the 2019-2020 regular season as they host the first place Rochester Grizzlies. In their most recent meeting the Chill were unable to get anything going in Rochester as they fell to the Grizzlies. Now, the Chill look to make a statement in their final home game of the regular season in order to hold their positioning for the postseason home ice advantage. Weekend Preview – Feb. 21 & 23

This past weekend the Chill picked up a big win at home as they hosted the first place Rochester Grizzlies. They currently sit in third place in the Central Division standings with only one point separating them and St. Louis for second place. The Chill now look into a two-game weekend as they travel to Rochester on Friday night and host the Wausau RiverWolves on Sunday. 

On Friday, February 21st the Chill head to Rochester to take on the Grizzlies for the 2nd consecutive weekend.This past weekend the Chill were able to walk away with a shootout victory at home to even up the season series at 3-3.  Coming off this big win, the Chill now look to take another W from the first place Grizzlies on their home ice to take the edge in the season series. On Sunday, February 23rd the Chill return to home ice as they host the Wausau RiverWolves. The RiverWolves currently sit in sixth place in the Central Division standings. In their previous four meetings the Chill have compiled a 3-1 record against the RiverWolves. They now look to add another tally to the win column in their hopes in climbing the Central Division standings before the postseason arrives. Puck drops at 12 o’clock noon! Sunday’s game is packed full of special events! Sunday is Host Appreciation during the first intermission. We welcome Sparta Youth Hockey to our game AND it’s the last Skate with the Chill for the season!  Jump on the ice and skate with your favorite Chill players!

Weekend Preview – Feb. 15

This past weekend the Chill came away with a win at Milwaukee, a win at home against Peoria, and a loss at home against Peoria. Currently, the Chill sit in third place in the Central Division standings only three points behind St. Louis. With seven regular season games left, the Chill make their final push in climbing the standings before the postseason begins. 

On Saturday, February 15th the Chill host the first place Rochester Grizzlies. So far this season, the Grizzlies hold the edge in the season series. This season the two teams have had five meetings. In those meetings, the Grizzlies hold three victories to the Chills’ two. In their most recent meeting, the Chill stole a win from the first place Grizzlies with a 5-4 victory on February 2nd. Three more meetings lay ahead between the two teams. Two games in La Crosse and one game in Rochester. With a lighter weekend ahead of them, the Chill look to even up the season series with a win at home.

Weekend Preview – Feb. 6-8

This past Sunday, the Chill pulled off a big win as they took down the first place Rochester Grizzlies with a score of 5-4. Currently, the Chill sit in third place in the Central Division standings with games in hand and the potential to climb. They now stare into a three-game weekend as they travel to Milwaukee on Thursday night and make their way home for a two game homestand against the Peoria Mustangs on Friday and Saturday. 

On Thursday, February 6th the Chill travel to Milwaukee to take on the Power in their sixth meeting of the season. In their previous five meetings this season the Chill have been able to come away with 4 wins to Milwaukee’s one. Currently, the Milwaukee Power sit in fifth place in the Central Division standings. With room to climb, the Chill are looking to extend their win streak on the road in their final push of the season. Puck drops 8pm! Catch all the action on HockeyTV! 

On Friday, February 7th and Saturday February 8th the Chill make their way back to home ice as they host the Peoria Mustangs in a two-game homestand. The Chill have struggled this season with Peoria. In their four meetings this season, the Chill have only been able to come away with one win to Peoria’s three. Coming off a big win on Sunday the Chill look to get back and even up the season series with Peoria. Currently, the Mustangs sit behind the Chill in the Central Division standings in fourth place. Weekend Preview – Feb. 2

This past weekend the Chill completed the sweep against the Breezy Point North Stars. The Chill remain in third place, but have closed the gap tremendously. The Chill sit right behind St. Louis in the Standings with one less point. This Sunday, the Chill host the first place Rochester Grizzlies. 

On Sunday, February 2nd the first place Rochester Grizzlies come to town. So far during the 2019-2020 regular season, the Chill and Grizzlies have met four times. They have met in October, November, and January. In those four meetings the Grizzlies have taken the edge in the series with 3 victories to the Chill’s one. The Chill took their victory in the two team’s first meeting back in October. Including this Sunday’s meeting the Chill and Grizzlies meet four more times during the regular season. With that time left, the Chill look to even up the series as they make their push to climb the Central Division standings.

Weekend Preview – Jan. 24-25

This past weekend the Chill secured a victory in Wausau and suffered a loss in Rochester. They now look into a two-game home series with the Breezy Point North Stars this weekend. Currently the Chill remain in third place in the Central Division standings as Breezy Point sits in sixth place in the West Division standings. 

Previously, the two teams met back in November for two games in Breezy Point. In the first meeting of the season the Chill came away with a 5-2 victory. In their second meeting, the Chill toppled Breezy Point with a score of 11-3. Now at home, the Chill look to extend their wins against the North Stars in a two game series.

Weekend Preview – Jan. 16 and 20

This past weekend the Chill fell to Milwaukee and were also able to sweep the St. Louis Jr. Blues on home ice. After the weekend, the Chill remain in third place in the Central Division standings. This week they face the Wausau Riverwolves tomorrow and continue into Monday at Rochester to take on the first place Grizzlies. 

On Thursday, January 16th the Wausau RiverWolves come to town for a Central Division matchup. The Chill and RiverWolves have met three different times this season. In those three meetings, the Chill were able to come away with two victories to Wausau’s one. Currently, Wausau sits in sixth place in the Central Division and the Chill sit in third. Weekend Preview – Jan. 8, 11, & 12

This past weekend the Chill were unable to come away with a victory in their two game road series in Peoria. They now look to get back on their feet as they stare into three games this week. On Wednesday January 8th they travel to Milwaukee to take on the Power. Then, St. Louis comes to town for a two game homestand on Saturday and Sunday.  Currently, the Chill sit in third place in the Central Division standings. 

On Wednesday, January 8th the Chill travel to Milwaukee to take on the Power yet again this season. So far this season the Chill and Power have met four times. All four times, the Chill have walked away victorious. They look to extend their wins against Milwaukee after a slow start to the new year. On Saturday, January 11th the St. Louis Jr. Blues come to town for a two game series.  During the 2019-2020 season so far the Chill and Jr. Blues have compiled four total meetings. Each team has walked away with two victories and two losses. The two teams look to now take the edge in the season series. Currently, the St. Louis Jr. Blues sit above the Chill in second place in the Central Division standings. Puck drops at 7PM on Saturday and at 12pm on Sunday! Weekend Preview – Dec. 6 & 7

With this past weekend off, the Chill watched as the Central Division standings shook up around them. The Chill currently sit in third place in the Central Division standings only behind the St. Louis Jr. Blues and the Rochester Grizzlies. This weekend they look to take the edge in a home and home series against the New Ulm Steel. 

On Friday, December 6th the New Ulm Steel come to town for another matchup this season. The two teams have met twice thus far.. During those two meetings, the Chill have come away with both victories. They now look to extend their winning streak against New Ulm this season with a home game on Friday and a road game on Saturday, December 7th in New Ulm. The New Ulm Steel currently sit in fourth place in the West Division as the Chill sit in third place in the Central Division. 

This Friday, December 6th come on down to catch the Coulee Region Chill host the New Ulm Steel for the last home game of 2019!
