Rivalry Re-ignites In Janesville

The battle for "America's dairyland Milk Can Trophy" resumes this weekend in Janesville WI as the only two NAHL teams from Wisconsin play for Badger State honors. In 2010'11 the Coulee Region Chill went down to Janesville Ice Arena and took the first two games in an O.T. win and a shootout win and then followed it up at the end of the season to stake claim to the trophy and win the season series 5-3. Last year it was all Janesville Jets as they took the hardware south in convincing fashion. Janesville is Coached by former Springfield Coach Joe Dibble, who had success as well last season against the CRC. New coaching and very different rosters for both teams this season should provide for a very fun out of division rivalry. Mac Jansen leads the CRC in scoring with 8-4-12 in 9 games. Waunakee Forward Jason Ford leads the Jets attack with 7-5-12 in 12 games. Catch all the live NAHL action this Friday & Saturday night on Fasthockey.com. Saturday night's game will also be live audio on the Coulee Region Sports Network.
