ONALASKA-Coulee Region's Connor Gaarder scored his third goal of the game with 45 seconds left in the third period to break a 3-3 tie, and the Chill went on to beat Bismarck 5-3 in front of 1,043 at the OmniCenter.
Coulee Region (27-15-5) moved into second place in the NAHL Central Division with 59 points, one behind leader Owatonna and one ahead of Bismarck.
The Chill trailed 2-1 and 3-2 in the game but two goals by Gaarder and Lucas Dillon's empty-netter late in the third turned the tables.
Gaarder, a second-year forward from Edina, Minn., has 22 goals and a team-leading 55 points for the season. Lucas Dillon had three assists in addition to his goal. Paul Moberg made 31 saves for his 20th win of the season.
