The Coulee Region Chill, proud members of the North American Hockey League are pleased to announce that Onalaska High School Senior, Gabe Flood has been tendered for the 2013'14 season. Flood has the opportunity to play as an affiliate player for the remainder of the 2012'13 season. Gabe was the leading scorer for the Onalaska Hilltoppers in the 2012'13 season with 32 goals, 17 assists and 49 points during the regular season. Gabe proved to be a catalyst on the power play leading the Hilltoppers with 7 power play goals and scoring 5 game winning goals, helping Onalaska to a share of the MVC conference title this season. Gabe was 2nd in scoring for Onalaska H.S. in his sophomore year with 63 points in 23 games played. Onalaska High School Head Coach Tim Ebner said, "We are happy that Gabe has this opportunity to carry on his playing career after his high school career". The Coulee Region Chill have five home games remaining at the Onalaska Omni Center this season and Gabe has the opportunity to play in front of the home town fans as the Chill host interstate rival Janesville this weekend and Austin the following weekend.
