Chill victory sets up Owatonna showdown

BISMARCK, N.D. — Zac Frischmon scored three goals and Paul Moberg made 50 saves as the Coulee Region Chill routed the Bismarck Bobcats 6-2 Saturday.

The Chill swept the weekend series at Bismarck and set up a Central Division showdown against Owatonna on March 4-5.

Owatonna (29-17-6, 64 points) holds the division lead by one point over the Chill (29-15-5, 63) with a month left in the regular season.

The game was tied 2-2 in the second period, with Chill goals coming from Frischmon and Tommy Miller, before Coulee Region scored four unanswered goals, two by Frischmon and one each from Matt Blomquist and Tate Rusk.

Frischmon has a team-leading 27 goals this season.
