Friday night the Chill took control in the first with two goals from Ben Jaremko and Ross Luedtke. The Bandits tried to come back with two of their own in the second and early third periods. But the Chill opened it up with goals from Jakob Batcha, David Ripple and another from Jaremko to make it a 5-2 final. Aaron Davis blocked 31 of 33 from the net.
Saturday's story was quite opposite as the Bandits came out swinging with 32 shots to the Chills 13 in the first two periods. St. Louis scored four goals before Jaremko again lead out for the Chill in the second. Jake Useldinger and Mac Jansen scored two more, but it was not enough to cover the three addition goals St. Louis put in to make it 7-3 in the end. Davis had 34 saves out of the 41 shots faced.
The Chill come back home this weekend to face off against last season's central division champion Bismarck Bobcats. Both games start at 7pm at the OmniCenter.
