SCOUTING THE BOBCATS

Key player vs. Chill: F Matthew Gates — Gates led Bismarck in scoring during the regular season (27-31-58), including six goals in seven games against the Chill. Gates has a team-best three playoff goals. Bismarck will lean on Gates for more points in this series.

SCOUTING THE CHILL

Key player vs. Bismarck: D Matt Blomquist — The Chill need their defensemen to make smart decisions on breakouts against Bismarck’s neutral-zone trap. Blomquist’s size and puck-moving savvy means he’ll be a key trap-buster. He also scored two goals against the Bobcats during the regular season.
