The Coulee Region Chill needed this one in a bad way, and they got it in convincing fashion.
The Chill pulled within a point of Owatonna in the Central NAHL standings with an 8-2 win.
The two teams were tied 2-2 midway through the second period when the Chill went off for six unanswered goals.
Jake Useldinger assisted Scott Bell to start things off. Useldinger and Jakob Batcha assisted Chris Hughes on a goal with
2 seconds left in the second period for a 6-2 lead.
Useldinger capped off the win converting a penalty shot with 11 seconds left in the game for the Chill.
Zac Frischmon had two goals, Connor Gaarder and Lucas Dillon each had a goal and an assist, and Micky Knox had two assists.
Coulee Region improved to 26-15-4, while Owatonna fell to 26-16-5 with 13 games remaining – two against Owatonna – in the regular season.
